Miley Cyrus has been at the centre of controversy this week. With her "risky" cover photo appearance on Vanity Fair. The Disney star came under attack by the public, media and fellow celebrities insisting that her parents and management are to blame for her unusual photos. The photos display Cyrus showing a lot of skin in a raunchy shoot. The 15 year old star is believed to have been 'used' by photographer Annie Leibovitz for publicity. However celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz has leapt to the 'Hannah Montana' stars defense saying the snaps are "simple" and "beautiful". Cyrus is due to apologise, claiming she was manipulated into posing for the pictures. The photos were condemned by Disney Channel bosses who accused the publication of creating a situation to deliberately manipulate the 15 year old to sell magazines.
