Ashey Simpson's Pregnancy Watch

After the announcement of their engagement last week Pete Wentz and Ashley Simpson are now dodging the paps and their claims that Simpson is expecting their first baby. Wentz spoke to MTV this morning and said "There is a Witch Hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood". Ashley and older sister Jessica were attacked by the paps at LAX airport and both had no comment.

Did Liz Taylor Overdose?

The National Enquirer is reporting that 76 year-old Academy Award winning actress Liz Taylor mixed alcohol with medication and overdosed on April 6th. They are reporting the legendary philanthropist began vomiting and couldn't breath when she awoke her assistant at 4am. Taylor was rushed to Cedras-Sinai Medical Centre and went home that afternoon. 

Introducing ....

Seeing as the news is slow this week. This weeks 'Introducing' artist is coming a few days earlier ;). Ida Corr is a Danish singer who is currently mostly known for her club hit 'Let Me Think About It', which she wrote. The song features Dutch DJ Freddie Le Grand. The song is currently being released all over Europe and is reaching the top of the charts in the pacific. It's also the best selling single outside of Denmark for a Danish singer since the bands Aqua and Infernal. Her latest single 'Ride My Tempo' is set to be released along with 'Let Me Think Me Think About It' on her debut album 'One'. She is also in a band called Sugarush who are also set to release an album later in the year. 

Video Of The Week

Some slow news this week. So this weeks 'Video Of The Week' is yet another one of my favourites from the vault. The video premiered a day after Christina Aguilera gave birth to her son Max. The song 'Save Me From Myself' which is off her 'Back To Basics' album was first shown on her official website for her fans to download. The video is nothing spectacular it shows Christina singing in an empty room, with actual footage from her wedding. The song itself is amazing and it's one of Christina's top vocal performances, nothing over the top. What do you think?

Mariah & Nick Cannon - New Couple?

It's turning into the week of new couples! It's now reported that Diva Mariah Carey has found herself a new honey in Nick Cannon. The couple met while Mariah was filming promos for her new album 'E=MC2". "Mariah fancied Nick immediately, he tickled her sides as well as her fancy" says a spy.

After leaving a nightclub together and leaving in the same car speculation has mounted that American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and ex-popstars Bardot member and now actress Sophie Monk are dating.

Beyonce's Destiny's Child?

After the surprise wedding last week. Almost every magazine/website is reporting that Beyonce & Jay-Z are expecting a baby. A while back Beyonce was quoted saying "I want to get married and I really want a family. In a perfect world i'd have two boys and a girl". Is B on her way to her "perfect world"? Hmmm I guess time will tell.

After a 10 year relationship Hollywood Heavyweight Johnny Depp and French singer Vanessa Paradis are reportedly getting married. The couple are said to have planned the low-key nuptials for June.

Justin To BBQ With Britney?

Justin Timberlake is thought to have agreed to meeting his ex, Britney Spears, for a family BBQ. After Spears' dad, Jamie, begged Justin to come over and help Britney get closer "some real resolution", says a source close to the family. Although I think Justin and Britney could make some good records together I'm not sure that I believe this story. What do you think?

Kylie Minogue Tanks In U.S

Seems like all this promotion in the U.S hasn't paid off for Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue. Her latest offering 'X' tanked on this weeks billboard album chart. 'X' entered in at a dismal number 139, shifting less than 12, 000 copies. Ouch. I think that the U.S could embrace Kylie but 'X' just wasn't the right one to do it with.

Leona Lewis To Perform On Idol

Leona Lewis is set to make a guest appearance and perform on this season of American Idol. The U.K singer is booked in to perform 'Bleeding Love' on the show on April 23rd. Lewis is currently promoting her #1 album 'Spirit' in the U.S.

Fergie & Jennifer Hudson On SATC Soundtrack

Perez Hilton is reporting that Fergie & Jennifer Hudson are set to light up the Sex And The City Movie Soundtrack. It's believed that Fergie has just recorded the film's opening song titled 'Labels & Love'

Also as well as starring as Carrie's assistant power-house Jennifer Hudson has recorded a song called "All Dressed Up In Love" which is more than likely set to play when the credits roll!

Wow the soundtrack is starting to sound better than the film!

Spears Donates $25, 000 to 'Idol Gives Back'

Britney Spears has reportedly given $25,000 (after running it past her Dad first of course, seeing as he runs her money at the moment) to 'Idol Gives Back', according to Life And Style Magazine. The 'Piece Of Me' singer apparently cried for two hours after watching the show and decided to google the word malaria and was horrified when she found out African's were dying from insect bites. Is this yet another sign the singer is back on the mend fo' real?

Overnight 'Idol Gives Back' rasied $22 million dollars and still hope to reach the $100 million dollar mark!

Ledger's 'Joker' scenes shock viewers

Scenes of Heath Ledger's portrayal in upcoming Batman flick 'The Dark Knight' as The Joker have been shown to audiences and many were shocked and disturbed as one of the scenes includes Ledger's character being taken away in a body bag. It's still unclear if the movie studio will remove the scene completely or edit it down more. What do you think?

In Touch, were reporting Musical celeb pair Ashley Simpson and Pete Wentz got engaged over the weekend. Fall Out Boy member Wentz got down on one knee and proposed in Colorado. Recently the couple released a statement "Yes we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged", the couple said.

Britney To Have Her Own Clothing Line

Other than reportedly being in talks to return to the small screen in sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" the "Toxic" singer met with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier, to discuss a fashion range. It seems Miss Spears is trying to get as much money from the cash cow as she can! I can't help but wonder if all this acting and talk of clothing lines could be better focused on her musical career? Especially as her 'Blackout' album had some top notch songs on it! What do you think?

Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher is set to show off her singing skills on American Idol's 'Idol Gives Back' show. She is said to be singing Carrie Underwood's 'Before He Cheats' with fellow DHW actor James Denton. In Other Idol Gives Back news, Ellen Degeneres has dropped out from hosting the show due to "personal production pressure".
