Britney Spears has reportedly been offered the lead role in West End play 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. Producers had been considering the pop star for a while but after her critically praised cameo on 'How I Met Your Mother' they are apparently seeking Spears to play the role of Blanche DuBois.Vivien Leigh won an Oscar for her portrayal of the Southern belle in the 1951 film version of Tennessee Williams play.
