Sheen To Marry End Of May

'Two And A Half Men' actor Charlie Sheen is set to wed his fiance, TV personality, Brooke Mueller at the end of the month. The couple told a US mag exclusively that the nuptials will take place on May 30. The couple met at a party in 2006 just after Sheen separated from wife and mother to his children Denise Richards.

'Superbad' Leads Noms At MTV Movie Awards

'Superbad' leads this years nominations at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

The teen comedy is nomination for 5 coveted 'golden popcorn' awards. It's nominations include 'Best Movie' as well as several noms for acting. Juno also was nominated for top film of the year along with Transformers.

The 17th annual MTV Movie Awards will be aired on June 1st Live from the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, California.

As you can see by this latest issue of People Magazine it is now 100% official that Mariah Carey married Nick Cannon last week. Apparently the wedding was planned and Mariah flew in thousands of flowers and personally flew in the wedding cake.

Scarlett & Ryan Confirm Engagement

Acting couple Scarlett Johansson has announced her engagement to boyfriend Ryan Reynolds. The couples engagement was confirmed by Johansson's representative Marcel Pariseau to People.com. "They're both thrilled" she says. The couple have been dating for more than a year.

Scarlett is currently promoting her debut LP, a cover of Tom Waits songs, entitled 'Anyway I Lay My Head.

Tina Turner Announces New Tour

The world was happy when 'self-confessed retiree' and legend Rock Hall of Famer Tina Turner took to the stage with Beyonce for the Grammy Awards in February. Most speculated it would be one of her last public performances ever.

But it turns out that the "Tiny Dancer" singer plans to embark on her first tour in eight years starting early October at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

After completing three dozen shows in North America 'the Queen' is expected to continue to Europe and possibly international shows she announced on a Thursday taping of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show'.

Winehouse's 'Bond Theme' Shelved

UK soul singer Amy Winehouse's work on a possible James Bond theme song has been abandoned due to the singer 'not being ready to make music' says long-time collaborator and UK producer Mark Ronson.

Although Winehouse's spokesman said the decision was taken because she has "other ideas" about how the song should be developed.

It's a great shame that this hasn't come to anything I think a Winehouse track on the latest Bond flick would have work wonders for the film franchise and for the troubled singer.

America Ferrera To Marry?

Ugly Betty's America Ferrera has been spotted sporting an engagement ring in between takes on Ugly Betty. Her long-time partner and aspiring filmmaker Piers Williams is the lucky man.

In other Ugly Betty News .... Amid reports Lindsay Lohan was to join the cast for the season finale it has now been confirmed that the singer/actress is indeed currently on set.

Nicole Kidman To Play 'Dusty Springfield'

Academy Award Winning actress Nicole Kidman is set to play 60's English soul singer Dusty Springfield in a new movie. The film according to Daily Mail UK is based around Springfield's rise to fame, her battle with drinking and drugs and her bisexual affairs.

Screenwriter Michael Cunningham is at the helm again (he wrote The Hours in which Nicole received her Oscar from). 59-year old Springfield died of breast cancer in 1999. It was rumored that Kate Winslett was offered the role first but after a scheduling conflict Nicole is now seriously being considered. Filming wouldn't commence until Nicole gives birth to her baby.

Lohan To Join 'Ugly Betty'

Actress/singer Lindsay Lohan is set to join the season finale of 'Ugly Betty'.

ABC is wanting Lohan to help Ugly Betty's rating much like Britney did for 'How I Met Your Mother'. According to the TV Guide the show's rating have dropped dramatically since the writers strike ended.

With her album well underway and her appearance in UB coming, it seems Lindsay is finally getting her career back.

Mariah Carey Weds

The New York Post is now reporting that singer Mariah Carey and small-screen actor Nick Cannon got married last Wednesday. They are also reporting that there was no pre-nup. The small ceremony was apparently attended by only a few including Carey's close rapper-pal Da-Brat.

J-Lo - Reality Show 'Only' About Perfume

As previously reported Jennifer Lopez has signed a deal with TLC Network in which she will put her life on camera for a new reality series about herself.

It was originally announced that the show would feature aspects of her career as well as an in-depth look into her personal life as a new mother.

But now the singer/actress has stated the show will only feature her business side. Showing her launch of a fragrance from start to end.

BORING! no one cares about her fragrance in my opinion it's just a massive waste of J-Lo advertising her perfume! Do you agree???

TV's Sexiest Stars Announced

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Patrick Dempsey have been named America's sexiest TV stars from TV Guide's Sexiest Stars issue. Love Hewitt was choosen for her role as Melinda in the chilling TV show 'Ghost Whisperer' and Dempsey from 'Grey's Anatomy'.

Other celebs that made the list included Dempsey's co-star Justin Chambers Ugly Betty's Vanessa Williams, Taye Diggs, Eva Longoria Parker and Lost star Josh Holloway.

A lot of people are surprised by Jennifer Love Hewitt's top spot, but I'm pleased for once it's not an actress from Desperate Housewives.

'Zoey 101' teen star Jamie Lynn Spear's mother Lynne Spears has let slip that her youngest daughter is expecting a baby girl. The baby is due on June 29th.

The Journey Ends For Brooke White

This week's idol cast-off was Brooke White. After performing two songs from the Neil Diamond catalogue "I'm A Believer" and "I Am, I Said" the singer was voted off by the American Public. Syesha was also in the bottom two and is tipped to leave next week. Leaving Jason and the two David's left. In my opinion is going to be a David Vs David final. What do you think?

Mariah Carey Engaged To Nick Cannon?

Access Hollywood is reporting that 'Bye Bye' singer Mariah Carey is engaged to short-term boyfriend Nick Cannon. The actor is set to appear in two new Mariah music videos in the coming months and amid reports that the singer was dating the comedian the DIVA has been seen out showing a ring on her wedding finger.

Mariah is 38 years old and Cannon is only 27.

It has been reported now that Nick has given Mariah Carey the ring that his previous fiancee, Victoria's Secret Model, was given by the actor.

McKellen 'Confirms' He'll Star In The Hobbit

Lord Of The Rings actor Sir Ian McKellen has confirmed he will be reprising his role as Gandfalf in the new film adaptations of JRR Tolkein's 'The Hobbit'. Currently set for two films.

The first film, according to PerezHilton, is to be released 2010 and the second film in 2011. The first one being the original prequel and the second will be an original story which will focus on the 60 years between the book and the beginning of the LOTR trilogy.

Lindsay Recording With Snoop Dogg

Lindsay is trying her luck at singing again. The actress has been busy in the recording studio working on her third, as-yet, untitled album. Lohan has been signed to Motown Records. PerezHilton is saying that insiders are claiming the track she has recorded with snoop "is amazing".

Motown will also be bringing in heavy-weight producers Pharrell Williams and Timbaland to help the 'rehabber' with her musical comeback. In similar news Lindsay's little sister Ali is also in the studio recording her debut album for Jimmy Lovine's Interscope through Maloof Music.
