Not a lot of news today, so in light of Mariah's record breaking week. This weeks 'Top Video' comes from the Mariah Vault. It's her smash hit 'Heartbreaker' featuring newlywed Jay-Z. The video premiered back in 1999. 

Teri Hatcher To Sing On Idol!

Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher is set to show off her singing skills on American Idol's 'Idol Gives Back' show. She is said to be singing Carrie Underwood's 'Before He Cheats' with fellow DHW actor James Denton. In Other Idol Gives Back news, Ellen Degeneres has dropped out from hosting the show due to "personal production pressure". 

Britney & K-Fed: NOT Together!

Britney Spear's ex husband has spoken out about the media reports that the couple are trying to rekindle their romance by sneaking away to to Hawaii. "It's Not True", the one time rapper and dancer told press. 

R.I.P: Charlton Heston

Charlton Heston, (original Planet Of The Apes) died at his Beverly Hills home on Saturday. He was 84 years old. 

Lohan To Strip For New Film?

Lindsay Lohan is certainly putting her partying days behind her! After those much talked about semi-nude Marilyn Munroe photos and last weeks unveil of her upcoming 'Manson Girls' film the actress has reportedly sealed a deal to strip naked in a new movie called 'Florence'.

Madonna To Remake Casablanca?

Queen of pop Madonna still hasn't given up on acting altogether! The '4 Minutes' hitmaker is planning a remake of classic iconic film 'Casablanca' - which is to be set in Iraq and will feature the singer as the headlining star. Hmmmmm!

Naomi Campbell Arrested

Troubled supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested after allegedly spitting at a police officer after her bag went missing at Heathrow airport's trouble-hit Terminal 5. The fiery catwalk artist was handcuffed and taken off a plane. Meowllll! 

Celine Dion: Concert Chaos

Super star singer Celine Dion has cancelled her Beijing, China concert due to organizers in Beijing failing to obtain official permission to host the gig. This comes after The former Vegas celeb cancelled some of her Australian concerts due to an illness. 

New Kelly Rowland

Check out this pic I saw on ThatGrapeJuice.net of the new Kelly Rowland "Ms Kelly Diva Deluxe' cd cover (UK verison) which is now getting a physical release as apposed to a digital-only release that US is getting. TMZ are reporting that Beyonce & Jay-Z are getting married! AS WE SPEAK! Check out tmz.com for minute by minute action. Beyonce's family are all gathered in NY with many limos driving around, flowers being delivered numerous camera crews and Destiny's Child band-mates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland posted a youtube video blog saying "were out of town at an undisclosed location" hmmmmm story developping.

Madonna's first single off her upcoming album 'Hard Candy', '4 Minutes' surfaced on the internet yesterday. You can check out the vid below, but it may not be working for long. Word is that Madonna's reps are taking down all the videos off the internet.

The Journey Ends For Ramiele

After the remaining 9 contestants sang their hearts out to Dolly Pardon songs, it was Ramiele Malubay that was booted this week. In my opinion she was the worst of the night and deserved to go home. My favourite for the night would have to be David A.

Canadian 'ex' angry singer Alanis Morissette is set to release her new album. The 'Jagged Little Pill' singer has already sold over 55 million albums worldwide and is releasing the new record titled 'Flavors Of Entanglement' (her 7th studio album) worldwide on June 2nd. Mariah, Madonna Break Records

As predicted both Mariah and Madonna have broken billboard records. Madonna's 37th top 10 single "4 Minutes" jumped to number 3 this week she now holds the record as the artist with the most top 10 hits pushing elvis tot he number 2 spot.

Mariah's 'Touch My Body' jumped up to number 1 scoring the singer her 18th number 1 single, she is now in second place only behind the Beatles who have 20 #1 hits. Lets wait and see if Mariah can churn out more #1's off 'E=MC2'.

Congrats to both ladies. It is fastly becoming the year of the divas.

Amy's New "Suicidal" album

It seems Amy Winehouse is going back to black for her new album. The 'Rehab' singer previewed some new material set to be released on her 3rd upcoming album to close friends. They are telling press the album is heavily influenced by suicidal thoughts. The UK Grammy Award winner, who recently contracted skin condition impetigo, is said to be working on some "very dark songs revolving around death".

As sad as that sounds I think Amy performs better on the more darker emotional themed songs. Looking forward to the new album!

Katie Holmes To Star On Broadway!

Just after announcing she will be designing a line of kids clothing Katie Holmes is in final negotiations (according to Daily Mail) to star on Broadway. The wife of Tom Cruize is in final stages of scoring a role in the play 'All My Sons', a post WWII drama, written by Arthur Miller. Other actors already signed on include John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest.

Kylie Gives U.S One More Chance

Pop princess Kylie Minogue is giving one final try to crack into the lucrative U.S market with her 10th studio album 'X'. Kylie is currently in America after releasing the album stateside doing heaps and heaps of TV spots to try and promote the album including a performance on Dancing With The Stars. Although U.K singing Pal Robbie Williams told Kylie not to bother she is giving them one more shot to embrace her pop tunes. During Minogue's 20 year music career she has tried several times to break into the market. Her closest call came 4 years back when Kylie's standout record 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' made it into the Billboard top 50. Kylie has already released the singles '2 Hearts', 'WOW' and 'In My Arms' off 'X' which is in stores now!

This week's "Introducing Artist" is Welsh singer Duffy. I heard her voice on the radio last week and thought she sounded unique and interesting. Check out her video below for her second single "Mercy" off her debut album 'Rockferry'. Let me know what you think ?

Beyonce & Jay-Z to Marry?

People are reporting that 'Irreplaceable' star Beyonce Knowles and rapper boyfriend Jay-Z filed for a marriage license in Scarsdale Village, N.Y on Tuesday morning. The cute couple have been dating for six years now. I guess we are going to have to wait and see if there is any truth to the matter. 

New Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams of Destiny's Childs fame, is getting ready for her third studio album. Her previous 2 efforts being gospel themed. Her third album 'Unexpected' is expected to drop in August. She debuted her first single "We Break The Dawn" on People.com. Check out the song in the YouTube video below. I'm really liking this single and I think she could just strike gold with this album.

Jessica Simpson Hospitalized

Pop singer (and soon to be Country-singer hopeful) Jessica Simpson has been hospitalized for a minor kidney infection. Jess' reps say she should be released today.

Mariah's Contract Extended // HOTM

Universal Music Publishing Group just announced they are going to renew Mariah Carey's contract in an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement. The company will continue to publish the Divas songs and future records and she is set to make millions from it. It's turning out to be year of Mariah.
